The walking VR Tour

Overview

Explore Charlottetown’s churches, civic heart, grand homes, and waterfront with a local guide, while mixed reality brings the city’s past to life right around you.

From early market days and Confederation debates to harbour defence and lobster fishing, history appears in the exact places it happened.

We offer in person walking tours in Charlottetown that bring history into the present using mixed reality.

How it works

You will explore the city on foot with a local guide. At select stops, you will put on a comfortable headset and see the real world around you, now layered with historic scenes, people, and moments tied to the spot where you are standing.

Each tour blends live storytelling with interactive Time Moments, where you can look around, move through the space, and experience the story before stepping back into the present and continuing the walk.

What you need

No tech experience needed. Just curiosity, comfortable shoes, and a sense of adventure.

Please note: Cancel at least 7 days before your tour for a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations within 7 days of your tour are NON-REFUNDABLE unless Trip Protection is purchased. If we cancel a tour due to weather, you will have the option to rebook or receive a full refund.
