What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel with no penalty up to one week (7 days) before your tour date.
Cancellations within one week (7 days) of your tour date are non-refundable.
If we cancel your tour for any reason, then you can reschedule or will be refunded 100% - your choice. -
Is the ride dangerous for adults or kids?
Not at all. The bike moves at slow speeds just in the downtown area of the city where traffic moves slowly. This said, the bikes is safest if you choose to bring your own helmet and follow these rules:
- Wear your seatbelt at all times while on the Pedal Bus
- Refrain from jumping around on the bike while it is moving
- Do not drink too much. We want everybody to enjoy a few drinks, but we reserve the right to not let you on the bike at anytime if you are intoxicated. We follow all responsible server regulations.
- Bring comfortable footwear - no high heels or flip flops!

Can I eat & drink on the bike during the tour?
On our Charlottetown Party Bike - YES! The Party Bike is licensed and makes 2 restaurant/pub stops for food/drink specials. Our boat is licensed and we have a daytime food menu, an evening surf & turf dinner cruise menu and a night time kitchen party menu.
Our Halifax Party Bike is not licensed, but we make 3 restaurant/pub stops for food/drink specials.
We want everybody to have FUN, but not too much fun. We do reserve the right not to serve if intoxicated and reserve the right to ask people to not come/finish their tour if they are intoxicated & present a problem/danger to themselves & others.

Can I bring my own alcohol on the bike?
No. We are licensed by the PEI Liquor Control Commission and it is illegal for us to allow passengers to bring their own alcohol on board the bike. Fear not, however, as we have lots of cold drinks available for purchase! 😜
No alcohol is allowed on the Halifax Party Bike, but you can purchase food/drinks at each of our 3 stops along the way & get great food/drink specials!

Is food & drink included on the bike tours?
Food & drink is NOT included on our Party Bike tours, however alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks may be purchased on the Charlottetown bike & non-alcoholic drinks may be purchased on the Halifax bike.
Food/drink may also be purchased at each of the stops for tours in both cities. This is a food & drink tour, so you may not want to make plans to eat/drink before or after the tour!

Are the bike available for private tours?
The Party Bikes can be booked for your private event also - just select 14 people and your $100 discount will be automatically applied. The bike is yours for your private tour for up to 14 people.

What happens if it rains or is too windy?
Our Party Bikes can also go out in the rain & some wind as they are covered & have deployable rain shields on the sides. Please note that tours cannot be refunded if you choose not to go out in the rain. We WILL cancel tours if the rain/wind is too much to conduct tours safely, in which case you will be given the option to choose another date or receive a full refund - your choice.

What should I wear?
Same goes for the Party Bikes as they are covered & have rain screens, but you may want to dress warmer for the cooler days. Comfortable footwear & no heels/flipflops is a must for the Party Bike!

Should we go out for food & drinks BEFORE going on your tours?
You can, but then you would miss out on the opportunity to enjoy local fresh flavours & drinks RIGHT ON THE BOAT! Choose from our delicious lobster, chicken, Caesar salad or hotdog meals & ice-cold local alcoholic cocktails & beers or non-alcoholic drinks while cruising on the beautiful Charlottetown harbour. Your food menu choices can be ordered ahead of time when booking your tour ticket.

What will I see/do on the tours?
And now for something completely different - A party on a Pedal Bus throughout downtown Charlottetown & Halifax! Depending on your group, your driver can provide historic commentary & sight-seeing/photo opportunities along with upbeat, fun music to pedal along to as you drive along the waterfront of these beautiful cities.
Of course, this is just part of this fun & different tour, which includes 2-3 restaurant/pub stops for food/drink specials just for our riders! Cold drinks can be purchased on the bikes & our Charlottetown bike is licensed!
